Pinagrealan Caves Bulacan

Pinagrealan Caves is in Bulacan and can best be described as the forgotten destination. The cave system is actually moderately difficult and requires a minimum of technical know-how to get into. HOWEVER, as in all cave related activities, EXPLORE WITH THE HELP OF A PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIENCED GUIDE ONLY! The cave entrance is a few minutes walk from the roadside. We can't give definite directions on how to get there because there are none. Nobody seems keen on developing the area as a recreational destination as no has yet bothered to even put up directional signs. There is also a large-scale quarrying operation in the area above the system. At times, the balsts from the dynamite that they use echo inside the passageways deep underground. There is nothing remarkable about the surrounding area, the cave entrance is hidden behind some growth in the middle of a plantation of some kind. There are pools and sink-holes inside the cave, as well as nicely formed walls and caverns. Some chambers are flooded and may require some swimming skils.

The best way to access this cave is to enlist the help of professional caving clubs and services. Otherwise, just get on a commuter van for Norzagaray, Bulacan. Once there, look around for the local Tourism Office or Barangay officials who might know the way.
